Tracy Hammer serves as a founder and partner at BH DevCo, a real estate development company specializing in build-to-suit delivery for national tenants in the e-commerce distribution and delivery space.
As a partner, Tracy is committed to being collaborative and adaptive with market demands while simultaneously being fiduciary to the clients’ and partners’ needs. He oversees and provides value to clients through site selection and feasibility analysis, due diligence, land acquisitions, design phase services, entitlements and permitting, and pre-construction services.
With a principal leadership trait of “being in the business for the right reasons,” Tracy’s more than 30 years of expertise in commercial construction project management throughout the Western US regions is rooted in a client-focused approach that creates value and certainty of outcome on every development. His exceptional management and oversight of highly effective design and construction teams is a testament to his leadership skills and capabilities.
Prior to forming BH DevCo, Tracy played a major role in some of the most prominent developments within the Western US region. He previously held the title of Vice President of Development Services at VanTrust Real Estate, where his leadership and management led to the successful construction of 6.3 million square feet of industrial and distribution space within a four-year period. He has also served in Vice President and Senior Director level positions at Western region construction and development companies, where he was responsible for profit and loss accountability through demonstrated experience in identifying and closing new business opportunities.
A graduate of the University of Nebraska, Tracy has been recognized for his superior organizational skills in pre- construction and construction requirements with an ability to “Fast Track” project schedules on highly complex and technical projects, with demonstrated timely and cost-effective results.
